Hi everyone!! I hope you're all having the best week getting ready for Christmas! Honestly the week leading up is the best part, right? Wether you're last minute shopping or stuck in school (Alpine School District did you guys dirty this year) I hope you're taking a moment to reflect on the most important part of the holiday season.
my christmas party!!!
(You thought I wasn't going to be sarcastic and annoying for once, didn't you?? Maybe next year.)
Last weekend I threw a Christmas party with Jessie and Tristen. I mentioned it slightly in one of my instagram captions, but throwing parties stresses me OUT. I feel like no one is going to come, or no one will have fun. So this year, I used tactics like blackmail and cupcakes to lure in some guests.
We partnered with Sweet Tooth Fairy who provided so many absolutely darling treats for us.
Indy Party Tip: Order lots of cupcakes for your guests. If no one shows up, you will be left with enough to stuff your face with while you cry and watch Hallmark Christmas movies. Win win.
FOXGLOVE UTAH IS THE REAL MVP! They seriously went above and beyond as well, and hooked us up with some beautiful flower arrangements. I mean LOOK AT THOSE PICTURES! I know what you're thinking. "Why hasn't she signed a deal with Urban Outfitters Home line yet???" That is a question we both need answers to my friends.
Indy Party Tip: Fresh Flowers and pine overpower the smell of pizza you ordered for your guests last minute because you forgot to order a caterer.
Shop Beautifully Said gave me this customizable sign, that was the ultimate photo op of the night. Check them out on instagram! @shopbeautifullysaid
And possibly my favorite party detail was these macaroons from Ashley at @merimacs. I think it was everyone's favorite part of the night! Besides Tristen walking downstairs in a santa suit and making us refer to him as "Daddy Christmas" for the rest of the party.
We didn't get everyone in the picture, but we forced Jessie's little sister to take a photo of the final stragglers at the end of the night. All in all it was such a fun event that i'll remember forever. A tradition in the making! Here's to hoping next yearI don't have to use blackmail :) If you haven't seen our little vlog from the night, I posted it down below.
Have the best Christmas everyone I love every single one of you!!
